
Refund Policy
Effective Date: March 1, 2025 — Shandong HUAYU Vehicle Co., Ltd.
If you are not satisfied with your HUAYU purchase due to a verified quality issue, you have the right to request a refund. This refund policy works in conjunction with our Return Policy. Please read both policies carefully before initiating a refund request.
1. Refund Eligibility
- Refund requests must be submitted within 60 days from the date of delivery at the destination port. Return ocean freight is the customer's responsibility, except where the product is confirmed to have a manufacturer defect (see our Return Policy for the defect exception).
- A valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained before any refund can be processed. See our Return Policy for the RMA procedure.
- The product must be received by HUAYU and inspected before any refund is issued.
2. Refund for Manufacturer Defects
If the product is confirmed to have a manufacturer defect in workmanship, parts, or materials, HUAYU will issue a full refund of the purchase price, including any original shipping costs paid by the customer. The refund will be processed within 7–10 business days after the inspection is completed.
3. Refund for Non-Defective Returns
If a product is returned for reasons other than a manufacturer defect and is accepted by HUAYU, the following deductions will apply:
- Original shipping costs (non-refundable).
- Return shipping costs (paid by the customer).
- A restocking fee of 25% of the purchase price.
- A processing/handling fee of 4% of the refund amount (minimum USD $400 per transaction).
The remaining balance will be transferred to your designated account after deductions.
4. Order Cancellation Refunds
If you have paid the full order amount via PayPal at checkout and wish to cancel before dispatch:
- Before dispatch preparation has started: Full refund minus any PayPal transaction fees that PayPal has retained.
- After dispatch preparation has started: Refund is subject to the stage of work completed and materials consumed. HUAYU will provide a detailed breakdown of costs incurred.
- After the trailer has been dispatched: Refund is not available unless the product fails quality inspection on arrival (see Section 2).
For bulk or custom orders paid via T/T (bank wire) or Letter of Credit with a separately negotiated deposit-and-balance arrangement, the same stage-based principles apply on a case-by-case basis. Contact our sales team for specific terms.
5. Refund Method
- Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (T/T bank transfer, PayPal, or L/C).
- Bank transfer refunds may take 3–7 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank and country.
- PayPal refunds are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
6. Processing Timeline
The financial review period is 7–10 business days from the date HUAYU receives your refund request and the returned product (if applicable). After review approval, the refund will be processed to your designated account. You will receive email confirmation once the refund has been issued.
7. Exclusions
Refunds do not include promotional credits, coupon amounts, or other bonus rewards applied to the original order. Products that do not meet the return eligibility criteria outlined in our Return Policy are not eligible for refunds.
