Warranty Policy

All new semi trailers sold by Shandong HUAYU Vehicle Co., Ltd. ("HUAYU") carry a one-year warranty effective from the date of shipment. HUAYU guarantees that all new semi trailers are free of manufacturer defects in workmanship, parts, and materials. During the warranty period, we will repair or replace, without charge, any parts determined by HUAYU to be defective.

1. Warranty Coverage

• Duration:12 months from the date of shipment from HUAYU's facility.
• Scope: Covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions and proper maintenance.
• Replacement parts: Defective parts confirmed by HUAYU will be replaced free of charge. HUAYU will ship replacement parts to the customer at no cost.
• Structural warranty: Main beam, frame, and welding joints are covered for the full warranty period under normal load conditions.

2. Warranty Claim Process

1. Report the issue: Contact our after-sales team by email, phone, or WhatsApp. Provide clear photographs or videos of the defective part along with a description of the problem.
2. Diagnosis: Our technical engineers will evaluate the issue remotely. If the defect is confirmed to be a manufacturing issue, we will proceed with the warranty claim.
3. Return the defective part: In some cases, we may require the defective part to be returned to HUAYU for inspection. The part must be returned with adequate packaging to prevent further damage during shipping.
4. Resolution: HUAYU will ship the replacement part or provide repair instructions. For complex issues, our engineers can provide step-by-step guidance via video call.

3. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads and shoes, light bulbs, rubber seals, paint fading from UV exposure).
• Damage caused by accidents, collisions, overloading, or road hazards.
• Damage due to lack of maintenance or improper cleaning.
• Misuse, abuse, or operation beyond the rated capacity or intended purpose.
• Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs performed by third parties.
• Natural disasters, acts of terrorism, floods, earthquakes, or other force majeure events.
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) that does not affect the structural integrity or function of the trailer.
• Products not purchased directly from HUAYU or not registered within 30 days of purchase (for dealer sales).

If a returned part is determined to be damaged due to misuse or lack of maintenance rather than a manufacturing defect, the customer will be responsible for the replacement cost and all related shipping charges.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Properly maintain the trailer in accordance with the maintenance guidelines provided by HUAYU.
• Operate the trailer within its rated load capacity and intended use.
• Report any defects or issues promptly within the warranty period.
• The labor required to install replacement parts is the responsibility of the customer. HUAYU provides technical guidance but does not cover on-site labor costs.
