Container Transport with 12-Lock System
HUAYU 3 axle 40FT flatbed semi trailers are built for container transport as their primary function. The three axles distribute weight evenly across all wheels, keeping the trailer balanced during transit. This flatbed semi trailer is equipped with 12 container locks, which allow containers to be positioned at the center of the platform. Center-loading prevents uneven weight distribution that causes the frame to sag over time — a common issue on trailers where containers sit too far forward or back.

Safety for Non-Container Cargo
The flatbed includes a front fender and two side pillars. When the trailer is not carrying containers, these pillars secure cargo like steel pipes and round logs. Pipes and logs can roll during transport — the side pillars act as stops that prevent the load from shifting off the deck. This safety detail matters on winding roads and at highway speeds.

We operate container shuttles out of Basra port and needed a second 40ft flatbed for growing volume. This trailer carries both loaded 40ft boxes and mixed pallet cargo without any drama. The twist locks engage positively and the deck height matches our dock levelers. One small gripe — the mudguards collect road tar quickly, but that is cosmetic. For port-to-city container work in Iraq this flatbed is a practical, good-value choice and I would buy another when we expand.

We move containers from Apapa port to warehouses around the city. Bought this HUAYU 40ft flatbed about two months back. The frame is stiff, locks hold the boxes firmly, and it tows smooth even at full load. Very solid trailer for the price.
